Construction company in Porto

Porto has little free land, and its historic centre has its own rules. For most foreign buyers, the real question is what they can do with an existing house.

Building in Porto

Paranhos, Ramalde, Bonfim, Campanhã and the Foz area are very different places to build. Plots are often narrow, between neighbours, which makes site logistics part of the design.

If you are comparing a new build with a renovation, start with what the plan allows at that address.

Common questions

Is it better to renovate than to build in Porto?

Often, because free plots are rare. It depends on the structure and on what the plan allows.

What about the historic centre?

It is a World Heritage area with protection rules. Check with the council before any design work.
